Broadway Birds Siskin Figure by Country Artists
This superb siskin figurine is hand painted and hand crafted by Country Artists. The ornament hails from the lovely Broadway Birds collection and is presented on a wooden base. The piece is simply titled Siskin and depicts this beautiful bird flexing its wings, ready to take flight. The siskin is a small acrobatic seed eating finch, they love cone seeds such as spruce and pine. These loveable birds often frequent gardens but are sometimes confused with the larger greenfinch. This particular model is of the male bird, distinguishable by its black cap and inability to ‘multi task’.
The siskin figure is made of durable resin and detailed to Country Artists usual very high standards. The collector number is 03945.
